Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony looked back on Van Halen’s 1988 album OU812 in a new video.
Hagar posted the video (above) along with a few additional comments from himself and Anthony:
“At this point we were firing on all cylinders!! We called ourselves “The 4 Headed Monster!” Keyboards, hard hitting, straight ahead rock, and even doing a cover of Little Feat’s, “A Apolitical Blues”, we had a little bit of everything on this album!!” – Michael
“Yeah, at this stage, this band was extremely confident and unstoppable. We had sold out every building in America multiple nights, had our second number one album in a row that had a bunch of huge hits on it, and we knew we had made another great record. I don’t think anyone could ever feel more on top of the world than we did as the four-headed monster AKA Van Halen!” – Sammy
