David Lee Roth has donated one of his signed and worn hats to the Cahonas Celebrity Loosen Up Auction, which runs until November 29th.
A host of the world鈥檚 best loved and well-known house-hold names from music, film, TV and sport have pledged their support to Testicular Cancer education and awareness this month by donating their signed and worn ties, scarves and other items to the auction. Roth’s hat is not only signed but looks as if he also decorated it up nicely with his own art.
Cahonas is a Scottish charity dedicated to raising awareness about testicular cancer. “Early detection means more effective treatment,” states its website. “Regular checks are important for every man you know. And every man needs to know what to look for.”
According to Cahonas, Founder and CEO Ritchie Marshall, Roth donated the hat last year (which explains “2019 and Beyond” written on the bill of the hat) but due to unforeseen circumstances the November 2019 auction had to be postponed. It was later moved to April 2020 (to coincide with Testicular Cancer Awareness Month) but had to be postponed again – this time due to COVID-19 lockdown.
