Watch Moving Netherlands Bell Tower Tribute To Eddie Van Halen

by Eric Senich — updated October 17, 2020 Leave a Comment

There have been many noteworthy tributes to Eddie Van Halen over the last week and a half. This one may be the most unique and moving of them all.

Four days after Eddie passed, a tribute was performed by carillonneur Malgosia Fiebig from the Dom Tower in Utrecht, the Netherlands – the country Edward Lodewijk Van Halen was born on January 26th, 1955.

In this video filmed on Saturday, October 10th Fiebig performs the Van Halen songs “Love Walks In”, “Why Can’t This Be Love” and “Jump”.

Fiebig is the city carillonneur of Utrecht and Nijmegen. If you’d like to reach out to her, you can do so through her Facebook and Twitter pages. Fiebig also has a website: MalgosiaFiebig.com.
