David Lee Roth is scheduled to be part of this weekend’s CBS ‘Sunday Morning’ program, according to the network’s website.
Here is what was posted to the network’s “This week on ‘Sunday Morning” (October 18)” promo:
“ART: David Lee Roth’s brush with art
Singer David Lee Roth, longtime frontman for the group Van Halen, is now making a name for himself as an artist and social commentator trained in sumi-e, the Japanese art of ink painting, doing what he describes as “graphic therapy.” But correspondent Tracy Smith finds out there was yet another calling in Roth’s life that, he says, made him feel like a rock star.“
There is no mention as to whether or not Roth will address the October 6th death of his long-time bandmate Eddie Van Halen. It is possible that the interview CBS conducted with Roth came before then. We’ll find out when the 90-minute program airs from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Eastern, and from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Pacific Sunday morning.
