Who better to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the world’s longest running festival than with the world’s greatest front man?
David Lee Roth joined Dutch trance DJ Armin van Buuren in front of 60,000 screaming fans at the recent 2019 Pinkpop Festival in Landgraaf, Netherlands. The two joined forces on stage for a live performance of van Buuren’s recent re-mix of the classic Van Halen song “Jump” and you can now watch a pro-shot video of that June 9th performance.

Van Buuren recently released the re-mixed version of the Van Halen classic as a single. Shortly before that he and Roth debuted the song live at Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
Roth and van Buuren’s performance was part of the festival’s 50th anniversary. It’s the longest running pop and rock festival in the world dating all the way back to 1970 when it first was held. Over the years the festival has had some major acts grace its stage including Green Day, Paul McCartney, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Rolling Stones, Metallica, The Cure and Bruce Springsteen. This wasn’t Roth’s first time at Pinkpop either. He and Van Halen performed there back in 1980.
