No rock ‘n’ roll band is complete without a fan base of beautiful girls, and Van Halen is no different. VHND and Van Halen Store are thrilled to announce that it’s working with model & actress Carrie Stevens.
Carrie, who has appeared on Days of Our Lives, Two and a Half Men and Beverly Hills, 2010, and in the film Rock Star, was Playboy’s Playmate of the Month for June 1997. She was the cover model for the fall 2002 issue of Gene Simmons Tongue, which included a feature article, “Carrie Stevens: Confessions of a Rock Starlet.” She’s also a die-hard Van Halen fan whose obsession started after getting free tickets to the 1984 tour.
Carrie explains she was just a high school freshman in Massachusetts when she discovered the band.
“I knew this kid named Shane, whose Dad had a connection to the Worcester Centrum. He gave me and my friend Vicki tickets for the 1984 tour.”
By the end of the night, she was hooked.
“The band seemed like they had more fun, than I’d ever dreamed possible. It was powerful fun. I wanted to be a part of the party! Who wouldn’t?”
Carrie credits Van Halen for her own career in television, film and magazines.
“If it wasn’t for my crush on David Lee Roth, I wouldn’t be where I am right now. I would listen to ‘I’ll Wait’ and wish that I was the model in the magazine that he was singing to. True story. The whole reason I became a model was because of that song.”
