Radio host Eddie Trunk has come up with a list of what he believes are the 20 greatest Van Halen songs of all time. Which song finished first? How many Sammy songs made the list? How many Dave songs made the list? Did Gary Cherone make the list? You’re about to find out.
Trunk aired the latest edition of his featured segment called Trunk Top 20 during his Sirius/XM radio show “Trunk Nation” on Wednesday, May 23rd and this time it was all about Van Halen.
“This one could potentially be the biggest [Trunk Top 20] yet,” said Trunk, who noted that Van Halen is the third band featured on Trunk Top 20 after Aerosmith and KISS.
Trunk, who always welcomes a good debate, assured his listeners that they would have the opportunity to respond and come up with their own personal VH favorites the following day.
“All eras of the band are included in the 20 song umbrella,” added Trunk. “The Hagar stuff, the Roth stuff, the Cherone album if you wanna include that. All of that is mixed in your 20.”
