Most 5-year-old girls spend their time playing with dolls. Not Eduarda Henklein. This little girl spends her time kicking butt the drums.
This week, a video of the musical prodigy performing a spot-on cover of Van Halen’s number one hit “Jump” has gone viral.
The video, which was actually uploaded to YouTube in May, is still wracking up the hits thanks to the little girl’s amazing talent.
When she sits down at her kit, it’s hard to believe that she can even reach all the cymbals, let alone play complicated rhythms with the best of them. But don’t let her tiny stature fool you… she can really hold it down! Eduarda makes it look easy, despite the fact that her drumsticks are almost longs as her arms! She doesn’t miss a beat.
Though she has since turned 6 years old, she was just 5 years old when this video was recorded. Her cover of “Jump” has amassed nearly a million views on YouTube.
