Rick Nielsen gave two great quotes about Van Halen:
“Van Halen is the musical equivalent of the yearly Harley festival in Sturgis. Loud, proud, and always a crowd.”
“Eddie’s creativity, his playing, and guitar technique have completely passed and bridged every style, skill, and performance, with enormous taste and diversity. Everybody loves Eddie.”
Both quotes above were Nielsen’s contribution to the Van Halen hardcover photo books published by Neil Zlozower. Rick’s first quote is from Van Halen: A Visual History, and the other is from Eddie Van Halen.
