Sammy Hagar’s Autobiography, RED: My Uncensored Life In Rock, Reviewed By Fans

by VHND — updated March 16, 2011 254 Comments

Sammy Hagar’s hardcover autobiography RED: My Uncensored Life In Rock is released today!

The first thing readers will notice is that there’s 32 pages of full color photos straight out of Sammy’s personal photo albums. The Foreward is written by Michael Anthony.

It’s certainly a rags-to-riches story. Beginning with his musical coming of age, Sammy traces his rough and determined rise to fame, working hard and writing songs about the things he loved—fast cars and good times.

A backstage look into Montrose, the solo years, Van Halen, the Wabos, Chickenfoot, Cabo Wabo tequila.

What do YOU think of Sammy’s story? We welcome everyone’s thoughts and reviews in our Comments section.
