Last year we featured some Van Halen covers by Jacob Deraps, a young Canadian guitarist who’s absolutely tearing up Van Halen classics. Now we’re featuring him again, because this time Jacob collaborated with another teen, and the results should make you proud of how this younger generation not only swings, but also is waving the Van Halen flag while keeping the rock and roll torch burning into the future.

Jacob tells VHND readers:
“About a year ago, Josh found me on YouTube and asked me to do a collaboration for a ‘Girl Gone Bad’ cover. I did the guitar and bass tracks for him and it turned out great, people loved it and we had a lot of fun doing it. This year we decided to try ‘Loss of Control’, there’s only a few covers of this song on YouTube and it’s a very hard song to play on both drums and guitar. We are very proud of the result and had a blast doing it again. We are also very proud to appear on Van Halen News Desk, it’s an honor. So, thanks VHND, and we hope you really enjoy the video!”
