Guitar legend Eddie Van Halen and hip hop legend LL Cool J jointly released the above photo today at noon. The only accompanying text was “AUTHENTIC 4/30/13“.
The only thing we know about this is that “Authentic” is the name of LL Cool J’s new album, which is to be released on April 30th.
On March 4th, the two legends jointly released this photo of them sitting in the recording studio, with no accompanying text.
It would seem that Eddie Van Halen is either working as a co-producer, or has recorded a guest part LL Cool J, or for an artist who is recording with LL Cool J. No doubt that more info will be coming in the near future.
Now that Eddie Van Halen is healthy again, the group is set for appearances at Australia’s Stone Music Festival in April, through Japan in June and then at the Rock USA Festival in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on July 20th.
