Van Halen tops Rock USA lineup
Last year, Van Halen booked and then canceled a gig at the Resch Center in Ashwaubenon. It looks like the band — fronted by original singer David Lee Roth — will try to heal northeast Wisconsin by headlining this year’s Rock USA in Oshkosh.
Northeast Wisconsin is getting their dose of Van Halen after all.
The arena rock band, including original frontman David Lee Roth, is among the headliners set for this summer’s Rock USA at Ford Festival Park in Oshkosh. The band had booked and shortly thereafter canceled a show at the Resch Center in 2012.
Also booked for the July 17-20 bash is Bret Michaels, Avenged Sevenfold, Godsmack, Buckcherry, Chevelle, Queensryche, Ratt, Great White, Slaughter, Sevendust, Jackyl, Dokken and Saliva.
Tickets are on sale at www.rockusaoshkosh.com, with a four-day pass at a reduced price of $49. Ticket prices increase March 14.
