    Then why did you comment?

  • swingin’ sinner

Still waiting for the Santana update for Dance the night away!

  • VH Dude

I was lucky enough to win tickets to the free show they put on at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland – can’t wait to see the footage! Ordered a blue ray – will be my first concert blue ray DVD. Funny how far they’ve come after being dismissed from day one! I thought they genuinely appreciated every fan that showed up. Will be great to hear their second effort…

  • R A 812

They played Running Out on the first little tour, the club tour before they went to Europe. When I saw them second time around for full tour in America in late summer, they cut Running out from the set list.

  • dlrevhsh

man chickenfoot is so awesome i hope they come to ottawa on there next tour. im definetly picking the dvd up hopefully van halen starts living up to what they said about being a band not just a reunion and making new music even if its just one song.

  • TheTruthHurts

Oh…so THIS is what a concert DVD looks like! Someone mind forwarding this onto the Halen boys? If you listen very carefully, you can actually hear my eyes rolling.

  • Pete

I’m stoked – I know someone who has seen this already, as a colleague of his was connected to it somehow. It’s flawlessly filmed and a treat for the eyes and ears…and if you notice…”fan-first” Chickenfoot are pricing it at less that $20.

Chickenfoot only gets cooler with each passing day…

  • ClubfootKolby

    THE FOOT DELIVERS AGAIN THANKS

  • Kayser Sozay

Saw these guys in their first ever gig in Seattle and then saw this concert film in the theaters. These guys bring it live, no question about it. I’m surprised to see Runnin Out on the set list. If memory serves when I saw it in the theater, it simply played at the end during the rolling of the credits. I don’t remember it being part of the show. Getting my copy for sure.

  • dirty face kid

van halen ,you are getting steam rolled by chickenfoot and miley cyrus… wake up ed,the dream is over..

  • phillster

I see the same old faces and hear that same old talk

  • Herb

Hey Kayser…I was at that show in the Corazon too. What do you make of “Runnin’ Out” being left out of some of the tour stops? When they were playing it that night, I remember saying to my wife that I really liked that particular song.

  • jim

Chickenfoot is the best ever of any startup band in history after they have put out one album and one tour. The number of hits on that first album is countless.

  • Dooley

I know what you’re up to jim.

    Not snappin’ at the bait!!

Let’s just say CF put out a fine debut album. It’s great they got a tour DVD out. Looking forward to studio album #2 and another tour.

  • Kayser Sozay

Hey Herb. Wasn’t that a great show? It was pretty cool to see guys of that star quality in a venue that small even if the place is a total dump and they way oversold it. Runnin Out is probably my least favorite tune on the album but I still like it. That’s just how good the album is.

Don’t know if you saw it but there were two dudes with shaved heads and sunglasses standing in the back by the bar with no expressions on their faces through the whole show. They looked just like Satch. One was tall and one was short. I’d never seen Satch live before and never really paid that much attention to his solo stuff but he was so amazing I was beginning to think he wasn’t from this planet and maybe these dudes were his handlers from back home or something. Ha.

  • scott

I was at the el corazon gig as well. It Rocked.

  • ME!!

    Pre-ordered mine. Can’t wait!

  • Michael

    Just ordered the Blu Ray!!!

    PARTY TIME!!!

  • Adrian

I don’t want to get my buzz on. I want to get my Roth on.

  • http://none Dirty Duck

    Adrian!

    ;)

  • Dooley

    Adrian:

Yeah, I think his last music release was Stummin’ With the Devil. I betcha (or at least I sure as hell hope) Dave wants to put something fresh out to strike that one from the record. And VH3 with Gary is not the way for a band like this to end it. People still do care, but some day they won’t.

  • dirty face kid

roth did say during the 07 tour announcement that their intentions were to record an album after the tour.daves voice is definitely not what it was,but who cares.hes still a great performer ..,but at their ages, they cant really take another 4-5 year break..if they are going to do something,it should be soon..just watch any of the roth interviews.this guys got ants in his pants…he wont wait forever either..maybe they made too much money on the last tour,i wish i knew..
