    Take pictures once you’ve put out some new music, all he’s doing is hyping his guitar. Probably will never hear a new album. I’m a diehard disgruntled fan who has been let down since 1998, even the reunion tour just couldn’t have Anthony, always has to be something now a days with Eddie. Hopefully the new album kicks ass and makes me shut my mouth but I’m sure he will find a way for that to let us down

    Anyone else get the feeling that all we’re seeing these days is Ed squeezing the last drops of juice out out of a once magnificent career in an effort to boost the retirement fund? This is just Ed flogging guitars. And that’s pretty cynical and disrespectful of the fans. I mean, is anyone seriously holding their breath for new music? “I’ve got tons of music written…” Yeah, sure you have, Ed. How long have we been hearing that one? Show me the money, dude. And before anyone loses their hair over my comments, I’m desperately hoping I’m completely wrong about this…

    VH has always been a fairly “lazy” band where new music is concerned, Im sure a new album will come out in due time.

    I particularly like all the flattened cigarette buttes on the floor, who needs an ashtray? Isn’t Matt Eds boy friday?
    I recently went to the Netherlands (Nijmegen as well)and I would ask everyone I met if they’ve ever heard of Van Halen and I was shocked nobody did, this made no sense, or maybe it’s just time passing by. I love this site though. I also met Ed and drank wine with him once (smokin’ loon was his favourite at the time) He was very cool, but there was this weird look in his eyes, seriously, one minute it was that classic happy smile then in an instant he would be looking grim and almost angry. Ah who cares, all anyone wants to hear is some cool music, Balance was the last good shit and relax guys,the Dave stuff is the best, but those Balance tracks were good, oh yeah and Humans Being was great (the music is powerful). But damn, I think new stuff will unfortunately be very goofy like Diamond singing..”a Jamaican model meets a New York stripper and baby it’s Jamaican me hot like a Big Apple pie..” hahahah, you all know what I mean, we’ll probably be left with only good memories, but I would love to be wrong….but I know I’m not

    That’s why we love the guy. He’s not “Joe Rock Star”…he’s just a “regular joe”. At home, working his craft. That’s a musician. I’m proud to be a VH fan and estatic that they want Dave in the band and plan to releease new material with him. Hey Ed, any chance you could keep Wolfie in the band and bring back Mikey? Both play bass and keys. It could work ya know? That’s my two cents…

    Wow! Ed sure looks relaxed.What the hell if you had’nt worked 9 out of the last 11 years you would relaxed as well.Let’s keep relaxing until the summer until it’s new music time. This man is gone, and we keep coming back for more.Ever since Dave and Sam left they ahve screwed up everything they touch. Both greatest hits records,Hall of Fame, reunion tour…………….everything.No way we get new music..ever!

    hmmm…i’m not really sura if this picture is great,i think he’s not looking very happy, sorry ! He looks like short before cryin’ ! Maybe he realized that he spent a good part of the eighties + the whole nineties with SH + that he made a awful Album with GC (Sorry, G., i love your work with Extreme). Tons of Music ? That’s what he said short before 1984, and that record had many old riffs + songs on it ! No, he said that again + again, he could make tonns of albums, but i’m sury he’s still not happy. There will NEVER be a new record with Dave, i’m pretty sure. And, dear EVH, if you read this…..come to EUROPE, please !
