The Van Halen News Desk would like to make a correction. Recently we reported that Wolfgang Van Halen will be performing his first-ever solo concert next October. Scratch that. Make it his second solo show.
On this month in 1993 Valerie Bertinelli appeared on the Arsenio Hall Show to promote her TV show Café Americain (which Eddie made a guest appearance on). During the second segment of the interview Eddie and a then two-year old Wolfgang Van Halen came out to join her. As you’ll hear Eddie say in the video below, Wolfgang “steals the show”.
Even Arsenio couldn’t help but notice Wolfgang already had perfect pitch. Wolfgang also shows off some impressive dance moves while singing his own version of Ring Around the Rosie.
Later in the video Valerie, already sensing her son may join his famous dad on the lighted stage, warns Wolfgang, “Just remember Wolfie, you’re life is mine until your 18 and then you get in show business OK?”
