David Lee Roth performs at Houston Opera Ball April 14, 2018

UPDATE: See Pics & Video as they come in right here…

Live in Houston… or within flying distance? Got yourself some spiffy duds for a White Tie evening, hobnobbing with the city’s movers and shakers? Okay, sure, Houston’s glamorous Opera Ball brings together the city’s most notable residents and tastemakers for an extravagant gala in support of HGO. And, this year’s celebration will pay tribute to the Golden Age of Hollywood, as you’ll walk the red carpet to a swanky supper club on Sunset, where legends were born and glitz was never in short supply. Palm trees and the Polo Lounge… Fred and Ginger, Garbo, Grant, and Garland… dancing cheek to cheek under the glamorous glow of the Hollywood Hills. Tickets for the star-studded event start at $1,500, while tables are available from $15,000. And, you care about this why, exactly? Well, of course, we saved the best for last. The Van Halen connection.

The Special celebrity guest for this event? None other than David Lee Roth. Yup, who better to channel the vibe of the golden age of Hollywood than Diamond Dave? This spectacular night will feature a rare, private performance by the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, who’ll be playing hits from his Gold and Platinum solo career as well as from his Van Halen frontman days. The event takes place at the Post Oak at Uptown Houston, Saturday, April 14th at 7pm.

Last-minute bonus: According to the Houston Grand Opera website, there are still VIP tickets available for the Encore After Party, which includes a 9pm performance. Tickets are $250.
