“Rock ‘n’ roll is a spirit ANIMAL! And I can’t think of anyone who embodies the spirit of rock ‘n’ roll more than ‘Diamond’ David Lee Roth of ‘The Mighty Van Halen’!!!!
“A couple of weeks back, somewhere in the Hinderland Who’s Who, it actually occurred on this earth that I got to play a (very) private show with an all-time hero, Diamond David Lee Roth! Cannot divulge the location of this activity we are sworn to secrecy but to say it was exciting for me was s an understatement of momentous proportions!
“I knew I was gonna be on stage with David Lee Roth that night and all day I was transported back to the feeling of going to see Van Halen in concert when I was a kid which was an excitement that cannot be put into words! Unbelievably, I still have my 1983 Van Halen Fan Club Kit that I sent away back in 1983 (!), which I brought to the show in 2025, and David Lee was kind enough to sign the VH Fan Club membership certificate for me, 42 YEARS LATER! I mean what are the odds of that ever happening! If that wasn’t enough, I also brought my Tour Program from the Women & Children First tour, which Diamond Dave was kind enough to sign as well! Gonna get this all linen back framed and up on the wall for the rest of my days!
