Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony take us back to 1991 for the big and bad sound of Van Halen’s For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge. It’s among the Hagar era Van Halen albums now available in an all-new remastered sound as part of the recently released The Collection II boxed set.
Hagar posted the video (above) along with a few additional comments from himself and Anthony:
“I really believe F.U.C.K may be our greatest record song for song and certainly the way it sounded. Mike and I still play more songs from this album than any other album in the Circle set. That pretty much says a lot. And the remastering makes it sound even better!” – Sammy
“Like Sammy said, F.U.C.K is probably the best record song for song, and I think sonically also. Andy Johns really nailed it for us, with a big fat sound, and finally lots of bass!!” – Michael
