Twenty years was too long. So said Wolfgang Van Halen of his recent reunion with Michael Anthony.
The last time Wolfgang and Anthony spoke dates back to 2004 during the Van Halen reunion tour with Sammy Hagar. That all changed on December 8th when Wolfgang and Anthony met up after a Mammoth WVH show in Las Vegas. Here is what Wolfgang had to say about the moment during a recent appearance on Loudwire Nights radio show.
He’s family. It was long overdue. I think we had planned that at least since I’ve been touring and it just worked out and it was very wonderful to see him — love that my Mom [was] there [and] my uncle Patrick who is also part of the Mammoth team, he goes way back with them. It’s really nice to have that little reunion.
