Sammy Hagar says remasters of his era with Van Halen are coming soon.
In celebration of the 28th anniversary of Van Halen’s Balance, Hagar posted the band’s performance of “Amsterdam” (above) during their appearance on The Jon Stewart Show back in 1995.
A very interesting comment Sammy made was on the Van Hagar / Other Half Instagram page where he posted the video for fans to view and comment on. One fan posted: “I wish this album along with OU812 and 5150 would get remastered.” This was Sammy’s response: “All that is coming soon. They started with the live album. It’s coming out first and then they’re going to re-master everything.”
Fans tried to find out more from Sammy but he didn’t follow up with any more details.
Will we actually get to hear the remasters? When will they be released? Only time will tell!
