Poison guitarist C.C. DeVille’s performance of Eddie Van Halen’s “Eruption” got a rousing response from fans Sunday night at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
DeVille and Poison have just kicked off a summer stadium tour with Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, Poison, Joan Jett and Classless Act. As you can see (and hear) in the video above, DeVille struck an emotional chord with the audience as he broke out a portion of “Eruption” midway through his solo.
DeVille has been including Van Halen’s music into his solos for many years but given that this is Poison’s first tour since Eddie’s passing (they last toured in 2018), it made it an extra special moment for the fans in attendance.
