We can confirm that David Lee Roth has canceled ALL his remaining shows at House of Blues in Las Vegas amid coronavirus concerns. A DLR insider confirmed the news to VHND on Monday.
In a previous statement, venue organizers said the cancellations were made “due to unforeseen circumstances related to COVID and out of an abundance of caution for those working and attending the shows.”
Nevada has seen an “alarming” surge of post-holiday COVID-19 cases, Gov. Steve Sisolak stated on Monday.
Previously, Roth’s sold-out New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day performances were canceled due to concerns about COVID-19.
David Lee Roth sent The Van Halen News Desk artwork related to the cancellation, with “A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO LAS VEGAS..” typed over it.
A text from Roth accompanied it, which simply stated, “We got rained out.”
The shows are currently not being rescheduled. The canceled dates are: Dec 31st and January 1, 5, 7, 8, 14, 15, 21 and 22.
Refunds will be automatically processed, and ticketholders will be notified directly.
