A YouTuber has given Van Halen fans the chance to get an up close look at the childhood home of Eddie and Alex Van Halen along with some graffiti the brothers left behind!
The host of SCOTT ON TAPE took a trip to Las Lunas Street in Pasadena, California to get a good view of the home and neighborhood Ed and Al hung out at. He also managed to get a shot of the shed in back where the brothers used to practice.
“Imagine how loud it was in that house! With the drums and Eddie practicing guitar? That’s crazy,” said Scott.
Afterwards, Scott moved on to a liquor store around the corner from the home of Eddie and Alex. It was there in 1976 that the soon-to-be famous Eddie and Alex carved “VAN HALEN” into the curb cement. The brothers referred to the liquor store right next to this spot as “Van Halen Headquarters.”
