Julien’s Auctions has announced the lineup of items up for bidding next month at MusiCares Charity Relief Auction and among them is an on-stage jacket worn by David Lee Roth.
The black jacket embroidered with rhinestones was worn by Roth during Van Halen’s highly successful 2007-2008 tour, Roth’s first with the band since 1984. The jacket was also seen in a photo Roth tweeted in tribute to Eddie Van Halen on the day of his passing – October 6th, 2020.
Proceeds will benefit MusiCares, the leading music industry charity, to provide aid to music people devastated by COVID-19. MusiCares provides the music community a support system of health and human services across a spectrum of need including physical and mental health, addiction recovery, unforeseen personal emergencies and disaster relief.
