No need to bid on David Lee Roth’s latest work of art. He’s already got a buyer: Sammy Hagar.
Just yesterday Roth posted his Sammy-themed illustration to his Twitter page. It includes several references to Hagar including: “Concrete Flowers for Sam,” “Sam the Man Not Only Will Be Giving His Life for Rock and Roll, But Plans to Be Buried in His Recently Acquired Jet!,” “Red Rocker Refuses to Fly 55 in Afterlife” and “Soggy Kudos to the Bottom’s Favorite Front-Guy for Planning Ahead.”
Today Hagar took to Instagram to respond: “I want to thank my old buddy Dave for considering me interesting enough to be the subject of his fine art hobby.”
Hagar also commented directly on Roth’s original Instagram post: “Dave my old buddy, I would love to buy this piece of fine art. Is it for sale? How much? And where can I see it in person?”
