While the city of Pasadena continues to decide on how best to memorialize their hometown legend Eddie Van Halen, there’s one person whose vote should carry some extra weight – Eddie’s son Wolfgang.
Wolfgang appeared on Fox 11 Los Angeles Friday and during the interview (at the 5:00 mark of the video above) he was asked about the Pasadena City Council recently coming together to determine what will be the best way to honor Eddie, who moved from the Netherlands to Pasadena with his brother Alex and their parents in 1962.
“I think it’s incredible that the support is there to want to honor him,” said Wolfgang. “Whatever it ends up being it has my full support.”
As for what he’d like to see done in honor of his father, Wolfgang said: “If I could suggest something I think something as simple as a street name would be amazing.”
