The Eddie Van Halen tributes around the world continue. Planet Rock has reported that the French football team Olympique de Marseille made good use of empty seating due to COVID-19 by adorning a section with the iconic Van Halen logo and two silhouetted figures of Eddie playing guitar at the Stade Vélodrome.
The screens at the stadium also featured a tribute to Eddie:

The words “Go Ahead And Jump… Forever!” were displayed for a specific reason. For years, before every home game at the Stade Vélodrome, Olympique de Marseille entered to Van Halen’s number-one single “Jump”.
