Sammy Hagar & Michael Anthony bust out two more rock classics with their bandmates in The Circle while on lockdown.
The Circle has been recording covers while social distancing due to the Coronavirus. They’re calling the jam sessions ‘The Circle Lockdown Challenge.’
Sammy’s been announcing them on social media. For a last week’s cover of the Who’s “Won’t Get Fooled Again,” he said, “Another week in lockdown at me and the boys from the Circle had to get another jam! I have always loved this tune maybe my favorite Who song ever! Stay Healthy. Stay Home. Stay Tuned.”
‘This week it’s the Van Hagar classic “Good Enough” that the Circle was thinking of including in the setlist for the next tour. What do you think? Stay Healthy. Stay Home. Stay Tuned.”
If Hagar and The Circle do end up including “Good Enough” in their future set list it’ll be a much welcomed return as concerts around the world have been put on hold until further notice.
Last month, the band canceled its previously announced South American shows, which were scheduled to take place last month, due to the escalation of the coronavirus (COVID-19). They’re scheduled to go out on a summer 2020 tour in the United States along with Night Ranger but that still remains to be seen. (Whitesnake was originally to be part of the summer tour but pulled out due to singer David Coverdale needing surgery for bilateral inguinal hernia.)
