David Lee Roth is not going to be confined to Las Vegas next year. He’s going to hit the ground running as the opening act for KISS next year, when they resume their End of the Road tour.

The Van Halen frontman will open up for them at 43 North American shows, with the first leg running between Feb.1 and March 15, and a second going from Aug. 28 until Oct. 2. Tickets are currently on sale.

“Rock n roll legends KISS have announced today that fellow rock icon David Lee Roth has been added as a special guest to the last legs of the END OF THE ROAD TOUR. David Lee Roth will bring his exciting stage show featuring a twin guitar big rock sound and a setlist of classic hits and future energy,” reads the press release.

The official announcement was always planned for today, but Live Nation’s app accidentally leaked the news yesterday.

We spoke to Roth’s manager today, and even said hi to the man himself. But there’s no news to add at this time. For now, it’s just the usual, “Right now we’re making sure that everyone knows we ain’t talking ..”

In the meantime, Roth’s Vegas residency is fast approaching, beginning at the House of Blues Las Vegas on January 8th.

Both in Vegas and on the road, Roth’s show will be packed with Van Halen classics.
