Miss the beat, you lose the rhythm. So what are you waiting for? Get in the groove and listen to Van Halen’s “Right Now” like you’ve never heard it before.

The Los Angeles dance duo Classixx has recorded a cover of Van Halen’s 1991 hit single “Right Now” for a new Innovative Leisure record label compilation album called ‘iL Loosies: B-Sides, Remixes and Other Rarities’.

The track is completely instrumental and features Edward Van Halen’s signature piano piece drifting over a hypnotic beat very reminiscent of Harold Faltermeyer’s 1985 hit soundtrack single “Axel F”. The song really gets going at about 2:24 into the song.

Michael David and Tyler Blake make up the DJ duo Classixx who have released two studio albums since forming in 2008. You can find out more about Classixx at their official website classixx.la.
