Alex’s drum tech, John Douglas, was asked if he could bring a replica of Alex’s 2015 Ludwig Classic Maple Drum Set to the event. Watch JD’s video above!
The Nashville Drummers Jam 7 is a charity event that pulls in top players in Nashville that honors a drummer while donating to a charity. Past drummers have been Stewart Copeland, Neil Peart, Jeff Porcaro, Jerry Gaskill, and John Bonham.
This year it’s Alex Van Halen! And the organizers say it’s gonna be the most epic Nashville Drummers Jam yet.
Al was cool enough to send them two clips featured in the announcement video they just launched (watch it below). The event is December 14th at the Exit Inn in Nashville. The video promises “All your favorite Van Halen songs performed by Nashville’s favorite hitters.” We’ll have coverage here on VHND.
