Rock fans will have the opportunity to meet legendary rock photographer Neil Zlozower this Saturday, August 27, at the The Rock and Roll Emporium Collectors Gallery in Huntington Beach, CA.
“Zloz” has become one of the most sought-after photographers in the business. His photos can be seen in all the major music/guitar magazines, company ads, major recording artists album photos, VH-1, MTV Headbanger’s Ball, Hard Rock Cafe’s worldwide and just about anywhere else music photos are used. He is the author of four popular books, including “Van Halen – A Visual History 1974-1984“ and the upcoming “Eddie Van Halen”, due October 12th, 2011.
“The ‘Zloz’ is a living legend,” said Andrew Kirby managing partner of The Rock and Roll Emporium. “To hear Kevin Dugan and Michael Anthony talk about Zlozower as he went on tour with Van Halen from 1978, 79 and 80, he was like a member of the band. The stories he captured from behind the camera are an important part of rock history and we are honored to have him with us to celebrate our new gallery opening.”
The grand opening is 7pm this Saturday at 3731 W. Warner Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92704. For more info, see the press release.
