“Sunday Afternoon In The Park” is the 8th track on Fair Warning.
Eddie used a cheap Electro-Harmonix Micro-Synthesizer to create this very unusual instrumental. This song has been described as a monster coming out of a swamp, and for good reason, with its heavily synthesizer-laded guitar and drum trade-offs, two minutes of auditory gore whose place is puzzling on the album though never disinteresting. The short bit leads to another half-song, the exiting “One Foot Out the Door“.
The song later became a part of Mike’s bass solo during the For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge 1991-1992 tour.
