Ludwig Drums proudly unveiled the new Alex Van Halen Signature Snare at the NAMM show this weekend.

It’s a limited edition (only 100 will be made). The list price is $1,699. We hear from Alex’s camp that all 100 snares SOLD OUT on the first day of release at NAMM. it was the fastest sellout in Ludwig history!
Note that it was sold out to dealers. So look for Ludwig retailers to start taking pre-orders for it’s summer 2017 release date.
We see that the certificate of authenticity declares, “This drum has been blessed by the Reverend Al.”
The Alex Van Halen Supraphonic Snare Drum is an extremely limited edition snare that delivers the same projection, sensitivity and legendary sound as the classic Supraphonic. These are limited to 100 worldwide and include with an ATA Anvil road case lined in blue velour, Certificate of Authenticity and custom 24kt gold Van Halen Drum Key. Plus, each drum is signed on the inside by Alex Van Halen, himself.
