…And the Cradle Will Rock!

David Lee Roth’s sister Lisa created the Rockabye Baby! series, which offers up lullaby versions of rock songs. She is keeping it all in the family with their latest CD Rockabye Baby! Lullaby Renditions of Van Halen. “It’s more for the parent than the child but it calms the child at the same time,” Lisa Roth told Forbes magazine.

Rockabye Baby!‘s line of CDs transform popular rock tunes into lullaby music for babies and parents. Timeless rock songs are transformed into baby-friendly beautiful instrumental lullabies. Guitars and drums are traded for soothing mellotrons, vibraphones and bells, and the volume is turned down from an eleven to a two. Rockabye Baby is the perfect way to share the music you love with the littlest rocker in your life.

Jump back, what’s that sound? Uh oh–baby’s cryin’. If your little one won’t sleep the night away, try these sweet and soothing renditions of Van Halen’s raging rock classics. The cradle will rock, just softly this time.

Roth himself added a quote to the liner notes:

“David Lee Roth here, the smile that launched a thousands hips, once they got launched, welp, time for some lullabies! Rockabye Baby’s Van Halen lullabies are here, and it’s all of your favorite tunes, but dialed down for just right after happy hour.”

The perfect gift for a newborn, new parents, or yourself!
