    Why is the chick in this video so mysterious ??

    I heard for a long time that it was Janet Jones — aka “Mrs. Wayne Gretsky”. However, VH-1 did a special about girls in rock videos and they said it was some unknown European model. Anyone know the truth?

    I always thought it was Janet Jones as well. Either way Hot for Teacher is by far, my favorite rock video of all time! Love all of it; the cute little VH kids, Waldo, VH dancing around in their corny red suits and of course the best part of all, Ed walking down the library tables during his amazing solo!

    What I love about the video is here is the greatest rock drummer ever, Alex, who is perhaps the WORST dancer ever! No rhythm on his feet. Maybe chalk it up to he was probably drunk during filming. Or maybe all drummers are lousy dancers, cuz I know am!
    Sweet shirt, in the same vein as my fav, the 07 Pinup girl holding the Frankie tour shirt. Gonna definitely get this HFT shirt too.

    According to Answers.com, the model/actress playing the teacher in the miniskirt was Lillian Mueller from Playboy…the teacher/dancer in the bikini was a soon to be Mrs. Wayne Gretzsky …Janet Jones.

    I know this makes me sound like an ass, but’s it’s just too hard to get excited about anything other than the new album. I like the new shirt and all, but the uncertainty of the new album just makes everything else not as cool as it should be IMO. Sorry to be negative, trust me, i don’t want to be….

    i gotta be honest i thought it was kinda lame that VH used all the old tour shirt designs for their last tour. Dave has said on numerous occasions that VH was the greatest visual entity when he was in the band and the best they can do is reuse the lion shirt and just slap 2007/2008 on it? weak. this shirt kinda makes me think of that.

    So they used 2 different women in the video? I never heard that before — it looks like the same chick throughout?!?

    Curiously, Wikipedia has info. about the video such as directors, location of shoot, etc. but nothing about the girl in the video. I even remember hearing a radio interview with Dave in the late 90′s where they asked him who the model was, and even he couldn’t remember.

    Reissuing classic designs is kind of a “no brainer” that pretty much as hard rock bands do. VH fans have been complaining that the band hasn’t reprinted those classic lion & eagle & 1979 space logo designs ever since they were all sold out in the ’80′s. So VH doing those was definitely a good move. And besides, if they hadn’t reissued them, people would complain that they hadn’t.

    Besides the reissues, there were some new designs on the tour. The new designs were more of course more stylish and contemporary. But I myself prefer the awesome/cheesy/cool retro designs!

    This one is obviously a ’50′s pinup girl style. Very cool…

    Roth Leaps-I thought it was the same girl at first as well but they’re not. One has a sweeter face. Janet Jones, the future Mrs. Wayne Gretzky is Miss Pys. Ed., the girl dancing with the wife-beater and the other girl is the one who strips from the classic glasses/dress combo.

    Thanks for clarifying. It is subtle, but those are 2 different girls in the video. Wonder why Dave and Pete Angelus decided to do that ??

    A friend of mine was wearing this shirt awhile back and it kinda surprised me that I had never seen it before. Especially since I come to this site and vanhalenstore.com. I think it’s a pretty cool shirt and I’m considering buying it. “Hot For Teacher” is definitely one of the Van Halen songs that deserves its own t-shirt.

    Since i have enough common sense to know i took a potshot because i mentioned the album in a post NOT RELATED TO THE ALBUM, it’s nice to see someone wants to bitch about my comment, which is very common around here. WE are all Van Halen fans, i’m not here to argue with a bunch of people i don’t know and never will. I don’t like a lot of comments on here, but i dont bitch about it. I don’t pay for your internet, you don’t pay for mine. If you don’t like certain comments, get over it. I’ts not the end of the world.

    There are actually 3 differnt girls in the video… Lillian Mueller was Miss Chemistry, Janet Jones-Gretzky was Miss Phys.Ed, then there was MY favorite, who worked the jailcell! All 3 were in the end of the video w/ Waldo at the end of the video!
