  1. Patrick says:

I take it the store has run out of fresh copies of VH3.

  2. Remember the Prom Queen says:

Love ALL VH, but what a disappointment the Sammy-Era CD 4-pack will be to anyone who doesn’t realize they HAVEN’T BEEN REMASTERED!

  3. Scottso says:

Who doesn’t already own these cds?? Certainly any VH fan who regularly trolls this site bought ‘em all years ago!

  4. vhdude says:

I think the Sammy-Era CD pack will be a disappointment to whomever gets it regardless of remastering..haha

  5. mkeruption says:

Here we go again, packaging up 30 year old material in a new configuration. I have purchased most of the VH albums a minimum of 3 times - Vinyl, cassette, and CD. Long live the foot!

  6. Dan R says:

    mkeruption,

Van Halen (the band) isn’t “packaging together” anything. Van Halen Store (a retailer) is selling package deals of VH cds.

  7. rob says:

were is vh3??? some of us liked that one…why does noone, including ed and al, ever mention that one any more.. it was a nice break from typical 3 chord vh…all of which love of course!!!!

  8. Rick Pride says:

Man I think it’s great. Yes I’ve bought many of the CDs four or more times. Not to mention a few on vinyl and cassette still laying around. But I may go for the David Lee Roth stuff. I only have Crazy from the heat and Eat Em and Smile and just pieces of Roths other albums from iTunes. I need to get all of Dave’s stuff and all of Sammys too. That’s my goal!

  9. Gary4life says:

You’ll all be sorry if you don’t own a copy of VHIII. I have the limited edition. Gary rules!!! He could sing both Sammy and Dave songs too. I wish Eddie would release that 2nd album they made with Gary!!!!! Ahhhh those were the days!!!! Year to the Day best ever Van Halen song. Let’s get some more VHIII here VHND. It is part of the history!!!!

  10. Aarxn82 says:

    whats the free cd?

  11. chris.omeara says:

Gary and Extreme kicked a*s onstage during their segment of the Freddy Mercury Tribute Concert; They were easily the most polished and energetic of all the groups that gathered to pay tribute with the surviving members of Queen.

I wasn’t a huge Extreme fan, but I was very impressed with what they did on that video concert…

  12. t1m says:

Still need to get that 1984 remaster, only have the original. I’ve also been looking for Eat ‘Em And Smile, I lost it a while ago. Sick album.

  13. Joker says:

    I love the price of Dave era 6-pack. $ 51.50 :-)

  14. diamond doug says:

Whats the deal with the “Dave era VH six pack” being priced at $51.50? Anyone else pick up on that??

  15. kenny says:

    $51.50?? very interesting…………

  16. VH Dude says:

Hey vhdude (lower case)…get a new screen name brother. It tooks me years of difficult thought process and contemplating to come up with my screen name. And I don’t want you to tarnish my good reputation. I happen to like both Dave and Sammy era Van Halen. Peace.

  17. Rick Pride says:

Lol. I didn’t notice the price of $51.50 till you said that!!! LMAO. The probably have Dave bound, tied, and gagged at 5150 studios as we speak. I sure hope Dave breaks out those midgets, oh how I miss the midgets!!!!

  18. diamond doug says:

Anyone know if the “Roth Tribute” cd is any good?

  19. Skutch says:

mkeruption, you comment is hilarious. Good thing CF hasn’t sold their CD in multiple configurations. (rolls eyes).

VH Dude and vhdude, there can be only one. We need a DUEL TO THE DEATH!

  20. andy says:

Love the artwork on Diver Down :-) Just realized they only made 4 albums with Sammy…

  21. Chris D. says:

VHND how do have such great deals? I definitely recommend the remasters to anyone who doesn’t have them. I compared thrm to my old AAD CD versions and the sound is definitely more crisp. No hiss. Less muddy in the middle, so you get more of Eddie’s and Alex’s high end. Mike’s bass provides a bit more at the low end instead of adding to the mud in the middle. I never had the vinyl, so I can’t say what the original-original sound was like. All “remasters” are really a “remix” of the sound in some ways.

  22. VH2008 says:

These are the best prices I’ve ever seen. If anyone needs any of these, now is the time to get them. Note that a lot of them are Remastered. And they sound a lot better. And a LOT better than MP3s. Too bad 5150 & OU812 aren’t remastered.

  23. D.O.A. says:

Think there’s any chance 5150 & OU812 gets remastered at some point? Geez the production was lousy on those.

  24. mad anthony says:

where’s the Live: Right here, right now cd?

  25. rickievanwhalen says:

    Rob

Shut up fool. How many “typical 3 chord” jams did you count in the Vh library? A few… Ok. “Typical” as you state…get your ears out of your ass.

  26. Russ says:

Gary4life says: I wish Eddie would release that 2nd album they made with Gary!!!!!

Ummmm…hold that thought. Wonder if any of the new VH tunes will have a familiar ring to GC?

  27. Phil says:

I actually have that Sonrisa Salvage on vinyl. Don’t ask me why, I only listened to it once. Maybe it’s (or will be) a collector’s item.

  28. Jor-L5150 says:

if there are 6 SIX dave-era records and only four 4 sammy records…

..why do sammy-hating dave-c*ck-suckers always brag about classic VH outselling van hagar?
if you have more records to sell, its easy to outsell someone who has less records to sell.

  29. Keith says:

Yeah, where’s VH3 ??? Real fans know it’s an awesome album and Ed is on record going on and on how Gary was the best, etc. Also, VHND needs to do a review of the half dozen or so Tribute CD’s, some are actually really good

  30. diamond doug says:

Jor-L5150: The dave era halen was also available up to 7 years before any van-hagar stuff was available. Those extra years mean extra sales.

  31. Patrick says:

“if there are 6 SIX dave-era records and only four 4 sammy records…

..why do sammy-hating dave-c*ck-suckers always brag about classic VH outselling van hagar?”

Not to mention re-converting Vinyl to 8 track, 8 track to cassette,& cassette to CD

  32. Canes_fan5150 says:

    Jor-L5150-

Vh1 and 1984 alone outsell the 4 hagar albums. Dont be stupid.

  33. john says:

who cares? just old stuff ….heard them all
