2015 VH parts way with wolfie. wolfie replaces satch in chickenfoot.
2016 Ed and AL decides they are too old for this shit and retires to cabo san lucas and opens a bar name “BIG BAD BILL” across from the cabo wabo.
2017 VH fans on VHND are still bitching and being dramatic!

What they need to do is to play what the TRUE LIFELONG FANS WANT TO HEAR…..PAH-LEASE WE’VE ALL SEEN THEM 30,40,50+ times, it’s enough with the same old schtick!!! LONG LIVE the machine that is the MIGHTY VAN HALEN!!!!!!!!!
i am gonna write some thought that come to mind at random:
were gonna finally get alot of van halen publicity now that eddie married a publicist! she builds her new company..and van halen finally connects with the fans!
plus…wolfie is in touch with the younger generation. thats gonna boost it.
but if there is no mystery in van halen…it may backfire and make the band too accessible. oh well…better more than less at this point.
roth is younger than sammy…and i like sammy..sometimes more than roth…but roth is gonna be a better younger payoff.
chickenfoot makes sense.
chad smith playing with a single bass and a simplistic style makes chickenfoot less likely to sound like van halen and less progressive. but, sounding great and classic..like led zep.
mikey can have freedom in the chickenfoot band. its a band that doesnt bear the name of two members or half of a band.
sammy has alot of money. you know he is doing chickenfoot for mike.
plus…its a slight slap in the face to eddie. satriani is a guitar god..and he is more diverse than eddie..and hasnt abused himself like eddie has. of course eddie invented the style that satriani took and turned into his own thing. eddie will always get the credit for that. he has forever cemented his mark as THE guitar god.
but, i think sam and mike know that in a slight way, they are putting pressure on eddie to straighten up..and find himself again. people will make comparisons of eddie and the new van halen to satriani…and eddie isnt the loser type.
its a win win every direction.
but i miss mike in van halen. and ill miss those background vocals!
we will get music from chickenfoot, and music from van halen!
music from sammy! but probably no more music from van hagar for a while.
but i bet you…one day…as eddie realizes his drunken past..and confused anger towards mike and sam(whatever that is!)….he will apologize. wolfy will split off after he makes a name for himself in van halen…and wolfie will tell his dad…”hey dad…get mike back..i dont wanna be the reason the fans cant get that and you should apologize to mike..and i want to go off on my own and be my own man…and i want the respect of not making it off my fathers legacy”.
but you know…i like the progressive style eddie and alex played after hooking up with hagar.
with roth, it was more bee bop 50’s sounding. of course it was a gem…it lacked the ballsy recording the evolved in the late 80’s too. 1984 with roth…was radical! and then roth left! the drums..finally came through in the mix! wow. good for alex!
but mikey only got to show off his pipes..his bass was hidden till f.u.c.k. album.
as usual with van halen, we never get the whole thing that we want. only a partial. never satisfied. never the full thing. never….
and by the way, i thought vh3 was a great album. it just wasnt the expected van halen. but its great. put it back in the big stereo and turn it up loud. van cherone was different, but good. just think of it as a different band youll love it!
To see a legend in the studio is a good thing! Need some new tunes, but I still love all the old (no matter who is singing), since I was born I liked guitar music, since I heard eruption (live), I LOVE GUITAR!

Still can’t get used to those new chompers of Ed…I felt so bad for him when his teeth became discolored due to the cancer treatments he took…he looked so humbled…now it’s like HOLY COW…those are some big-ass, white chompers!
Ed does look good. I hope his new honey keeps him happy and alive. There’s just been so much wasted time with Ed, and I’m SURE there’s so much more music between his ears that we’ve yet to hear.
