Sammy Hagar’s infamous bar and rock ‘n roll hotspot, Cabo Wabo Cantina, is set to open in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas in the fall of this year. Cabo Wabo Cantina offers a blend of live music and coastal Mexican cuisine served up all day and night, for a party that rocks into the early morning.
Cabo Wabo Cantina will be a two-story, 15,000 square foot restaurant and nightclub that will replace Trader Vic’s in their highly visible location right on the Las Vegas Strip. The food and cocktail menus will feature much of the same items as the original cantina in Cabo San Lucas. The food will be traditional and contemporary selections inspired by the fresh seafood and local fare of Cabo. The cocktail menu will place heavy emphasis on Sammy’s spirit of choice, tequila, and will feature margaritas and other refreshing beverages perfect for coolong off in the desert.
Cabo Wabo Cantina will be the flagship U.S. location for the legendary restaurant and nightclub. The original opened in Cabo San Lucas in 1990, and later became the inspiration for what is now one of the most recognizable tequila brands in the world, Cabo Wabo Tequila.
