Wakeup calls are a long-standing tradition of the NASA program. Each day
during the mission, flight controllers in the Mission Control Center will
greet the crew with an appropriate musical interlude.
Flight Day 11
STS-126 crew wake-up call, Flight Day 11 — “Can’t Stop Loving You” by
Van Halen was played for Mission Specialist Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper.

“Good morning, Endeavour! And a special good morning to you today, Heide.”
Mission Specialist Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper:

They coulda picked something that wasn’t interchangeable Journey-REO-Van Hagar pap. ‘Can’t Stop Loving You’?! Gimme a break. Van Halen at its most lamentable - and I say that as someone who loves Van Halen.
