If you took the “Under” bet on how many shows this summer’s Van Halen reunion tour would last, guess what? You win!
A legitimate source has confirmed that the outing has been “indefinitely postponed.”
Well, at least we got a new color photo of a semi-reunited Van Halen.
If they ever do actually work this mess out, let’s hope that Michael Anthony is the guy standing on the left.
On a less disappointing note, it appears the group’s third best-of collection has also been shelved.
And the saga continues …

Un-f******-believable. Thats it, I’m rioting in the streets….Whats up with these guys? Not even out of the starting gate. Just plug in the mics, hook up the amps, and play that kick ass rock and roll that geeked up America 20 years ago!!! If what you write is true, it’s just a pure shame. Sting and Co. got their act together, why cant Dave, Eddie, and (family?).

What is so difficult about getting on stage for the summer? Both Dave and the Van Halen brothers need each other. It diddnt work with Sammy the 2nd go around. What’s left? No one is going to accept another different vocalist.

It wasn’t a real reunion anyway, but it was looking like a step in the right direction. Hopefully they work it out, or try doing it right with Mike back in it. Otherwise, Ed should join the ever rocking Jeff Beck and add his award winning porn music to the mix! These two rock gods on the same stage would be mind blowing! But really, these guys owe it to the fans that bought the albums to get back on track,release some of that unreleased with DLR, and make this tour a success.

I am now ready to get back on my antidepression pills. If I kill myself it is Van Halens fault. This is a real down. I cant believe these people are so screwed up that they cant set aside some diffrences and get on the stage and make millions and turn on there fans. What is wrong with them? Eddie come on Homey do it for your fans. I know it is Eddie to.

Well, I did’nt really see were it says they broke-up……just because the tour is put on hold doesn’t mean the thing went down the sh%@er.
It must have something to do with Wolfie…..maybe Val got into the mix somehow, Jues….who knows anymore #8(

After seeing that publicity photo, I believed this was inevitable. Dave looks too cool, and Ed looks too goofy.
How long before Edward looked at that photo and said, “D$%@ Dave has done it again. Doesnt he realize I am in charge?”

What does Van Halen need a band to open for them? I have an awesome Southern Rock Band to do the job!! Come on guys, I have been waiting most of my life to see Van Halen, don’t let me down!

I have known those boys since the eighth grade..There will never be a reunion, a new albium of new material…or will they ever be the original Van Halen….It just wont happen!…Take it to the bank…

I’m a bit disappointed right now, but not surprised.
I think we all need to take a deep breath, exhale, and start to see this as a positive thing. Afterall, did you REALLY think young Wolfie would be able to hit the stage and actually keep up with the likes of Dave, Dad, and Uncle Alex????? Let’s just pray that this is because the boss is getting his head out of his butt and plotting a strategy to get MA back on bass, where he belongs.
Don’t give up on these guys yet! They are no doubt reading how the Police are selling out every venue and having to add more dates in each city…..cha ching$$$$$$$ The Van Halens are rich, but who couldn’t use a few more million in the bank? Plus they can still bring Wolfie along and start breaking him in for the next tour.
Van Halen…we LOVE you…the world NEEDS you….Don’t let this tour slip away!

Man Fellas - I was all psyched for this summer’s tour and now I have to continue listening to CD’s and watching Live Without a Net to get my VH fix. Not a bad thing, but we only go around this crazy world once. C’mon VH, there’s a lotta people out here banking on you hitting the road this summer for some great f*cking music and wicked solos! Pack up the bus and hit the highway….we’ll be waiting!
