UPDATED 2/13/12: As of today, Van Halen’s new album has only been out for six days, and as we expected, it has wracked up several thousand reviews from fans on the internet, nearly all of which are extremely positive!
On iTunes and Amazon, nearly 4,000 rock fan in total have rated the album. The vast majority have given it a perfect 5-Star rating! The average iTunes rating is 4-Stars, while the average Amazon rating is 4.5 Stars.
On Amazon there are nearly 400 written reviews giving it that average rating of 4.5 Stars. And right here on VHND, we have over 1,200 written fan reviews, and damn near every one of them is extremely glowing.
This many written reviews in only five days tells us that these people not only love the album, but they’re very passionate about it, as they actually took the time to write a review!
An average rating of 4 stars is quite impressive. So if you’re sitting on the fence and can’t decide if you should to buy the CD, get it! We can’t imagine any Van Halen fan – or any rock fan, for that matter – not absolutely loving it!
Regarding Album Sales, Van Halen’s ‘A Different Kind Of Truth’ is expected to debut at #1 or #2 on Billboard – they are neck and neck with another album.
