‘The Circle’ launched their new tour at The Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada Friday night and packed the set list with Van Halen classics, including a rarely performed track off of Van Halen’s 1995 album, Balance.

Sammy Hagar and his band featuring Michael Anthony (bass), Jason Bonham (drums) and Vic Johnson (guitar) are out on the road promoting their upcoming debut album “Space Between” (due out May 10th). While the set list featured a handful of cuts from the band’s upcoming album Hagar also delivered six Van Halen songs. The 19-song set included at least one track from each of Hagar’s studio albums with his former band including “Why Can’t This Be Love” from 1986’s ‘5150’, “Finish What Ya Started” and “When It’s Love” from 1988’s ‘OU812’, “Poundcake” and “Right Now” from 1991’s ‘For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge’ along with “Seventh Seal” from the ‘Balance’ album. Hagar performed “The Seventh Seal” with Van Halen during both the band’s 1995 and 2004 tours but has rarely performed it since his departure.
