New Podcast Aims To Break Down Entire Van Halen Catalog One Track At A Time

by Eric Senich — updated March 9, 2022 Leave a Comment

It’s the podcast that is guh-guh-guh gauranteed to rock on…and on…and on…until they cover each and every song in the Van Halen catalog!

And The Podcast Will Rock debuted in November and has released 16 episodes so far. In each, the hosts Mark and Corey choose a random Van Halen song and break it down from start to finish.

“We are here to discuss, dissect and just overall enjoy the musical discography of Van Halen,” said Mark in the debut episode. “What we wanna do is go over each song from the catalog of Van Halen. I know what you’re thinking: ‘Wow! That’s going to take you forever!’ Well, not forever but it’s gonna take us a good while so needless to say, you won’t be short of content.”

All together there are 131 official studio releases from Van Halen so the two have their work cut out for them. So far they’ve covered the songs “Runnin’ With The Devil”, “On Fire”, “Hot For Teacher”, “Outta Space”, “Big River”, “Dirty Water Dog”, “It’s About Time”, “Honeybabysweetiedoll”, “Learning To See”, “Inside”, “Outta Love Again”, “Eruption”, “Big Fat Money”, “Dirty Movies”, “Happy Trails”, “China Town”, “Fools”, and “Beautiful Girls”.

And The Podcast Will Rock can be heard on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Google Podcasts. You can find out more about the podcast at their official website HERE.
