The following phone call to Eddie Van Halen was done on Tuesday morning, November 25, 2003 by
Dwyer and Michaels from Q106 radio in Iowa.

- Ed refused to say if he had a singer for the band yet
- Claimed he had 10 albums worth of material
- He doesn't read the rumours and Van Halen fan sites on the Internet - "I have a life"
- His son, Wolfgang, "is more talented than anyone I've ever met" and can play many instruments
- Wolfgang "sings like a mo-fo"
- Stressed he was "cancer free and making a lot of music"
- Valerie and him are getting along better now that they're divorced
