VHML - Van Halen Mailing List
March 30, 2003 -
Since it looks more and more likely that we'll finally hear from Van
Halen again sometime next year, several of us have been talking about
the long-fragmented Van Halen Mailing List. That list saw its last real
incarnation in 2001. A number of us have been meeting up and discussing
the situation. If any of you out there are veterans of the old list, on
one of the many splinter lists that formed when the VHML broke up, or
if you're just interested in joining an active list of Van Halen fans;
we'd like to hear what you have to say. You can find subscription
instructions here:
http://www.van-halen.org/
Our VHML isn't any more valid than any of the other VHMLs, but we'd
like to come up with some solution that will get us all back under the
same roof, whether that roof is yours or ours is up to you. The list we
have set up is on a real majordomo listserv and it seems to distribute
mail pretty fast, so discussions can take place in close to realtime.
If consensus has us moving to a different list then that's a move we're
all willing to make, but please consider this offer to meet up and
discuss things.
We'd love to hear your opinion. 2004 may be a good year to be a fan. It
would be great if we were all together again to take it in.
