Dave's New Guitarist?

Is Toshinori Hiketa the new guitarist in the DLR Band? That's the latest
rumour doing the rounds at the moment after the departure of Bart Walsh.
Toshi's web site is currently all Japanese, but the English translation
feature of altavista.com dug up the following from his February 2 update:
DAVID LEE ROTH BAND 2002-02-02 (Sat)
It decided in the NEW guitar list of the DLR band!
It increases the day when it can meet with tour, in the pleasure!

Obviously a little is lost in the translation, but it looks as if
Toshi is confirming his status as Roth's new guitar player. See

Another connection
comes from Ray Luzier and James Lomenzo, the rhythm section of Roth's
2001 touring band. Luzier's web site has mentioned a "Luzier/Lomenzo/Hiketa"
project in recent times. They now call themselves the Hideous Sun Demons.
