"David Lee Roth Saves The Day" Tour Kicks Off
June 23, 2001 -
David Lee Roth launched his latest live assault last night at the Ameristar Casino in Kansas
City, Missouri. Playing live for the first time in almost 18 months, Roth
and his band - Bart Walsh on Guitar, Ray Luzier on Drums and James Lomenzo
on Bass - played a set of classic Van Halen, with a touch of post-VH solo material.

2000 has come and gone, and I don't have to tell you that it was probably
the most frustrating year ever in the life of Van Halen fans. "No news is
good news" got old real fast.
