The interview mainly focuses on his new bass, the BB3000MA
(see advertisement), but also touches on Van Halen. Mike
doesn't give away any secrets like the identity of the new Van Halen singer, but confirms
that the band is in the studio.

EVH In New Guitar World Special Edition
The latest in the series of Guitar World magazine's Guitar Legends series is titled
Guitar Legends: 100 Greatest Guitarists. Naturally, it features Eddie Van Halen
as one of the 100 legends. Look for it soon at your local news stand. This special edition
also features a transcription of Van Halen's Little Guitars, including the intro.

2000 has come and gone, and I don't have to tell you that it was probably
the most frustrating year ever in the life of Van Halen fans. "No news is
good news" got old real fast.
